Jennifer Kupcho wins Meijer LPGA Classic
Simply Give is proud of Jennifer Kupcho's victory at the Meijer LPGA Classic. Although she missed a putt of two feet on the first hole, Kupcho recovered with birdies on each subsequent nine to claim the victory. Kupcho is now the winner of her second LPGA major.

After a double bogey at the third hole, Kupcho was three strokes behind overnight leader. Her third shot fell in the right fairway, but she rebounded with a birdie on her par-5 eighth. Kupcho shot an impressive 71 on the final day and also made a birdie at the par-five eight hole. Maguire, who was in the group before her shot 65 and made a birdie on the 18th to set a clubhouse mark of 18 under par.
Nelly Corda to defend title
Nelly Corda will defend the Meijer LPGA Classic title. The tournament has one of the strongest fields in the women's LPGA circuit. With a purse of $2.5 million, the tournament will have nine of the top ten Rolex Women's World Golf Rankings in the field. The winner will be paid $375,000.
Korda's performance this week was a welcome sight after a slow start. After a slow start, Korda made a 22-foot eagle shot on the final hole to finish at 18-under198. She performed admirably at the Meijer LPGA Classic, considering that she was returning to the tour after a four month injury. However, she will face Jennifer Kupcho (who is coming off her first LPGA Tour title).
