Courtney Vandersloot or Elena Delle Donne are also on the list. Diana Taurasi

Breanna Stewart

For the second year in a row, the Seattle Storm are in Finals. Breanna Stuart is one of WNBA's best players. She was a two-time Finals MVP and was widely regarded as the best player in the league by the time she recovered from an Achilles injury. After winning the NBA's 2018 WNBA championship, she was named the league MVP in 2017 and the Finals MVP in 2018.

Courtney Vandersloot

Vandersloot was instrumental in the Seattle Sky's return to the playoffs in 2021 after they had missed four years due the departure of Elena Delle Donne. She averaged 8.6 points per game in the 2015 season, and led the league for that category. In 2014, and 2015, she was league leader in assists per team and the first WNBA female player to average over nine assists a game. She was also the league's top player in points per match. Vandersloot averaged 10.2 assist per game in the postseason.


Elena Delle Donne

There will be much debate among women about whether Elena Delle Donne is the greatest WLBA player. But the evidence is strong. The Washington season was an incredible one for the ex-Duke player. She became the first WNBA athlete to shoot more than 50% from the court. In addition, she also shot above 40% from behind the 3-point line. Her shooting percentage was so high that she won two MVPs with different teams. Her play helped the Mystics finish first in the league and top of the playoffs. Her performances earned her 12 vote.

Allie Quigley

Allie Quigley's talent and intelligence in women’s basketball is unmatched. She is a valuable player because of her mental toughness and intelligence. In the playoffs, she hit the game-winning shot for Chicago Sky. Quigley dribbled toward the basket and was soon surrounded two defenders. She quickly used the momentum created by her defenders to jump up for a mid-range jumper. She pulled up and fired elbow-toelbow, sinking the shot.

Tamika Catchings

During her career, Tamika Catchings has racked up an incredible number of stats, ranking her as one of the best players in the WNBA. She holds the record for steals with 7,380 and is third in career points. She has won the WNBA Player Award and three other league awards. Catchings is one of WNBA's most decorated players and will be inducted into Women's Basketball Hall of Fame 2021.

Tina Charles

Tina Charles was named the No. Tina Charles was the number 1 overall pick of the WNBA draft. She was the Connecticut Sun's rookie of the year and played in her hometown. She also set league records during her rookie year for double-doubles, and rebounds. Charles was named WNBA MVP after her breakout year and she won her first of two Olympic gold medals.
