Fallon Fox, an American mixed martial artist who is openly transgender, is Fallon Fox. She is the first transgender mixed martial artist in the sport. When she was in her early teens, she was convinced she was gay. She didn't know that transgender people existed at the time.


She began to research transgender issues and was eventually able to transition. She discovered about transsexuals. She eventually lost hair. She had several surgeries to complete her transformation from a male to a female.

After realizing her gender identity, she decided to have gender-reassignment surgery. She flew to Thailand for the operation and had a series if surgeries.

Fallon Fox first learned of the term "transgender" as a teenager. As a teenager, Fox began to question her identity. She started taking her mother's clothes and playing dress-up whenever she was not looking. While her family was not supportive of her decision to undergo gender reassignment surgery, she served in the Navy for four years, becoming an operations specialist second class. She attended a technical college after her marriage ended in 2007 and enrolled at University of Toledo.

Fallon Fox, who lost to Amanda Nunes UFC 215 in UFC 215 early in 2018, announced that she had decided to retire from professional mixed martial arts and would not compete anymore.
