Polish fighters have found the UFC a great place to fight. But how do these fighters fare in the UFC? This article will take a look at Marcin Prachnio, Jan Blachowicz, Michal Materla, and Michal Oleksiejczuk.

Marcin Prachnio

Marcin Prachnio, a mixed martial artist from Poland, competes in the Light Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has been a professional MMA fighter for over three years and has also competed at the ONE Championship.

Prachnio made his UFC debut in 2018 and has fought twice so far. He has earned $38,500 in his UFC career. His first bout was against Sam Alvey at UFC on FOX 28. For that fight, he earned $25,000 and $13,500 against Magmed Akalaev in UFC Fight Night 136. Prachnio was a fighter in 15 bouts before he joined the UFC. He also fought in four One Championships.

Jan Blachowicz

Jan Blachowicz, also called Jan Maciej is a Polish mixed martial artist. He currently competes for the Ultimate Fighting Championship's Light Heavyweight category. He has been in the game since 2007 and competed in the KSW Pro before switching to the UFC. He was a former UFC Lightweight champion, and a KSW Lightweight Champion.

Blachowicz lost his five subsequent fights after winning his first UFC fight. Two years later, however, he found his rhythm. From October 2017 through March 2020, he won nine matches. His most recent win came against Israel Adesanya who was a former champion at middleweight. His record now shows 28 wins to eight losses.

Michal Materla

KSW 6 in March gave MMA enthusiasts a first glimpse at Michal Mateerla, a promising prospect. The Polish mixed martial artist won an 8-man one-night tournament and has since become one of the top stars of Polish MMA. He is a winner of four out of five of his fights, and has a overall record of 15-3. His victories over Matt Horwich (Tomasz Drwal) and Rodasz Wallace are his most notable. He was defeated by UFC vet Antonio Mendes at KSW 7.


Damian Grabowski, another well-known Polish MMA fightr, is also a great choice. He is a heavyweight fighter with a 22-6-0 professional record. His last fight took place in 2011 and he is now 41 years old.

Michal Oleksiejczuk

Micha Oleksiejczuk from Poland is a mixed martial artist and middleweight fight. He has been competing professionally as a fighter since 2014. He was the former Light Heavyweight Champion of the Polish Thunderstrike Fight League.

Oleksiejczuk has a 27-year-old age and is originally from Barki, Poland. His pro record is 16-5-0, with 11 wins coming via knockout and one by submission. The other four victories were via decision. Oleksiejczuk's Octagon debut was December 30, 2017. He trains at Akademia Sportow Walki Wilanow.

Marcin Tybura

Marcin Tybura is a professional mixed martial artist from Poland who fights in the Heavyweight division for the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He has been a professional fighter since 2011. Tybura has been fighting professionally since 2011.

Tybura's striking is fairly functional, largely centered around leg kicks and big looping hooks. He is also a skilled wrestler, with strong chins and the ability of clinching an opponent. His wrestling style heavily relies on BJJ, freestyle and freestyle.
