The United States women’s team (USWNT), features a strong roster featuring talented young players. These are Taryn Torres and Julie Moultrie as well as Jaedyn Shaw and Megan Rapinoe. These players will help the USWNT get to the quarterfinals. They are less experienced and have less potential than their fellow players.
Taryn Torres
Torres' recent call up to the U.S. Women's National Team is a big step in the right direction for her career. The versatile forward at 18 years old is an excellent player, with a great shot and a high work rate. She has already played in three league matches and four Challenge Cup. Gotham FC selected her to be a 2021 draft choice, but she decided that she would finish her college career at Virginia. During college, she earned four All-ACC honors. She was also part U-20's 2018 FIFA World Cup squad. Jene Baclawski will coach Torres, who is a former technical director at the South Texas Youth Soccer Association. Baclawski heads the Visa SheBelieves Cup MVP selection team.
Torres scored Torres's first goal for the U.S. Women's National Team in its match against Nicaragua last Wednesday. This was a crucial goal for the U.S. soccer team. She also scored the U.S.'s second goal against Nicaragua in the team’s 2-0 victory.
Julie Moultrie

Mia Fishel won Golden Ball for best player. The team included three international players. Brianna Pinto and Talia DellaPeruta each scored at least three goals.
Jaedyn Shaw
Jaedynshaw has made a positive impact on the USWNT-20 team. While at a French training camp, she scored two goals for the team in three matches. She is expected join the U20 World Cup roster. She joined the San Diego Wave recently and will join Alex Morgan (and Abby Dahlkemper) as teammates. She will be working under the guidance of former USWNT coach Jill Ellis.
Jaedynshaw, a forward, was named to the U-20 women's national team roster. The team also includes Shaw, a youth player from Washington Spirit in the National Women's Soccer League. The team also features a professional player in midfielder Olivia Moultritrie.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe, a former USA soccer player who has won 96 caps, is now out of the United States Women’s National Team's squad after suffering an injury. The injury was sustained while the forward was in training at U.S. Soccer National Training Center Carson. Rapinoe has since returned home and will continue her rehabilitation. The USWNT will play France on February 8 and England on February 13.
Rapinoe is the USWNT's face and has been key to their recent success. She grew up playing volleyball with her older brother and twin sister in Redding. She has scored big goals for the United States, including at the World Cup 2013. Her winning goal was in a 3-2 win against Nigeria.
