Tara LaRosa, a woman's MMA champion in the past, has been a top contender. She was born in Philadelphia and grew up in Woodstown, Pennsylvania. However, after winning her submission against Kelly Warren, she decided to move to Washington, D.C. LaRosa is now a member of the all-female Invicta Fighting Championships organisation.
