Christen is an American soccer player. She is a member of the Angel City FC team, which plays in the National Women's Soccer League. She also represents the United States women's national team. Press made her international debut on February 9, 2013 against Scotland. She has since played in more than 20 matches for her country. To date, she has assisted on four of the seven goals.

Christen Press, the Pac-10 Player-of-the Year, is a star on the field for more than a decade. In her college career, she has racked up an impressive list of records, including 26 goals and 15 assists. She holds the team record of points with 105. Although she has not been able to win a national championship, her career has been exceptional.

Press is a Los Angeles resident and played high school soccer for Chadwick High School. Her team won two Southern Section Division IV championships. She went on to play college soccer at Stanford where she is still the leading scorer. In 2010, she was awarded the Hermann Trophy.

Press is a forward who has played a major role in the USWNT's scoring success. With 64 goals, she is 9th on the all-time scoring lists. Despite missing two games, Press has played in six of the team's seven games.

Press, 31 years old, had an excellent season with Utah Royals FC, even though she missed 10 games because of her USWNT duties. Christen press returned to the NWSL in April after a short stint in Europe. Brooke Elby from the USWNT was traded by the Royals to the Chicago Red Stars for Press. Press enjoyed an excellent season with the team.

Christen Press is one the most prominent players of the NWSL. With a deal worth $550,000 for two years, the former Manchester United player midfielder is one the highest-paid in the league. She is also a local ambassador. Press has appeared in 155 games for the United States team. Her 64 goals are her ninth best.

Press was born in Palos Verdes Estates. She attended Chadwick School where she led her team towards the CIF-SS championships. She was named Player of the Year twice and later went on to play soccer at Stanford University. She holds numerous career goals and points records and was awarded the Hermann Trophy in senior soccer. She recently signed with Angel City FC. On February 24, she will debut in the NWSL against the North Carolina Courage.
