La Roja's performance at the USA
La Roja was astonished by their performance against the United States. The U.S. WNT had not conceded a goal in eight consecutive competitive games, outscoring their opponents 44-0. Despite the United States' excellent goal-scoring record the Spaniards seem stronger. They are a dangerous and capable side, capable of applying pressure on the inexperienced U.S. goalkeeper. Their last two goals, both of which were scored by Megan Rapinoe, have been frustrating for La Roja.
