According to reports Hope Solo became so drunk that she couldn't perform a field test of sobriety and follow the instructions given by the police officer. She was also charged with driving while under the influence and resisting arrest.
Hope Solo was scheduled to be inducted into National Soccer Hall of Fame just one month before her arrest. Hope has asked that the ceremony not be held until 2023 to allow her to attend the program and concentrate on her recovery.
