Hope Solo is an Olympic gold medalist twice.

Although she won her first gold medal at 2012 Summer Olympics, it was not the end to her remarkable soccer career. She was born and raised in Richland, Washington. She played for the United States Women's Soccer Team from 2000 to 2016. She won a World Cup and two Olympic gold medals in the process. Hope started playing soccer as a youngster, and at one point was even ranked in the top five in the country. Hope was a goalkeeper at the University of Washington Huskies and went on to win the Pacific-10 Conference. She was awarded NSCAA All American honors in each year of her college career and was the university's all time leader in saves/shutouts.

Hope Solo left Seattle Reign FC after winning her second Gold Medal. Since then, she has published an autobiography. In July 2016, Hope Solo signed a contract with the NWSL club Seattle Reigns. However, she was unable to play due to injury for several more months. She returned to international duty in 2017 and was a major contributor to the USWNT's triumph in Canada's Women's World Cup. Her performance at the tournament was so outstanding that the U.S. won it and received its second consecutive gold medal.

Hope Solo is a well-known female athlete. She has signed endorsement deals with companies such as Nike (Seiko), BlackBerry, Gatorade, and Gatorade. She is also a representative of the Women's Sports Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the lives of girls and women through sports. Her endorsement deals are not the only thing she has done. Solo: A Memoir of Hope is her memoir that has been called "an autobiography of hope".

Her husband, Jerramy Stevens, is a former NFL player who was drafted in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Seattle Seahawks. They both played college football at the University of Washington.

The two met again in the woods, as she was studying at the University of Washington, while her father had been living on the streets.

She is in an Alcohol Treatment Program

Hope Solo, a former US women's soccer player, has entered an alcohol treatment programme. After an arrest on March 31, Solo was accused of driving under the influence and misdemeanor abuse of children. Two-time Olympic gold medalist, she is currently appealing for her induction into National Soccer Hall of Fame. This has been delayed until 2023. The incident occurred when she was found passed out behind the wheel of a car with her twins in the backseat. According to reports Hope Solo became so drunk that she couldn't perform a field test of sobriety and follow the instructions given by the police officer. She was also charged with driving while under the influence and resisting arrest.

Hope Solo was scheduled to be inducted into National Soccer Hall of Fame just one month before her arrest. Hope has asked that the ceremony not be held until 2023 to allow her to attend the program and concentrate on her recovery. Hope was originally scheduled to be inducted May 21st, but the Hall of Fame accepted her request to defer. The Hall of Fame supports Hope's decision and looks forward to honoring her at the next induction ceremony.
