Sha'Carri Richardson

Sha'Carri Richardson, an American track and field athlete, is a skilled sprinter. She competes in both the 100-meter- and 200-meter races. When she was a freshman at Louisiana State University and broke the 100-meter record in 10.75 seconds, Richardson rose to stardom. Now a full-time athlete, Richardson is now a role model for young women across the world.

Allyson Felix

Allyson Felix, a former American track and cross athlete, was primarily a 200-meter sprinter for her first nine years. She then switched to the 400-meter race late in her career. She is now a leading female athlete and an inspiration for others who wish to achieve their goals. These are some fun facts and figures about Felix. Robin Bone

A former high school track star, Robin Bone, turned 25 this week. As a teenager, she played nearly every sport under the sun, from soccer and basketball to gymnastics and track and field. She has been a top contender in the event since she was fifteen, but had to stop because of a concussion. She decided to focus on track and joined the Darien High School track team.


Nadine Broersen

Dutch track star NadineBroersen, a world-class high jumping specialist and heptathlon specialist, is the Dutch track star. She holds the current national record for the high jump and is the 2014 World Indoor pentathlon champion. Broersen competes in track and field for AV Sprint, her track club in Breda. The club also hosts many of the top Dutch athletes. In addition to her achievements in track and field, Broersen is a strong role model for young female athletes.

Lolo Jones

Lori Susan "Lolo” Jones of America is a hurdler and bobsledder. She is a master of the 100-meter and 60-meter hurdles. She's won three NCAA titles and 11 All-American honors. She has been named one of the most influential athletes of all time. In addition to her outstanding athletic ability, Jones has a passion for running and loves to watch bobsled races.

Cathrine Larsasen

Cathrine Larsasen is a Norwegian pole vaulter. She was born on 5/12/86. She has won the national pole vault competition three times in a row, and currently holds the record for both indoor and outdoor events. Larsasen increased her personal best by 0.54m during the last five years. Larsasen was the former world indoor pole vault champion and is a registered track star. She has won many awards.
