
Hope Solo (the U.S. Women's Soccer goalie) says she made a horrible choice when she hopped into a vehicle with her husband Jerramy. This was during training camp. Stevens was charged with driving under the influence. Solo was placed on suspension for one month. The incident took place less than a full week after Solo had been cleared of all domestic violence charges.

Hope Solo, us women's soccer goalkeeper, was born on February 25, 1982. She was part of the United States women's soccer national team from 2000 through 2016. Solo is a twotime Olympic gold-medallist and World Cup champ. Solo is a great goalkeeper.
Her success in soccer was not without its challenges. Her personal life was difficult and she had been involved with several fights. She was suspended for six month and then had her contract terminated. She filed a grievance and apologized for her actions. She also disclosed that she miscarried during her twin pregnancy. Briana Scurry
Briana Scurry was a former American soccer goalkeeper and is now an assistant for the Washington Spirit. She played for the United States women’s team and was a key goalkeeper at the 1995 World Cup. She represented the United States in the 2004 Summer Olympics.

Scurry made her international debut with the USWNT at the 1994 World Cup. The event was held on American soil. Scurry won the gold medal for the women's team, despite not being as popular back then. After her success, Scurry led USWNT to gold at Atlanta's 1996 Olympic Games. Fans and media alike were impressed by her performance and paid tribute to her. Her heroics in the final of the 1999 World Cup have become an iconic moment in US sports.
Alyssa Michele Naeher
Alyssa Naeher is a soccer goalkeeper for the Chicago Red Stars of the National Women's Soccer League. She also plays for the United States National Team. She made her professional debut in 2006 and has since made the jump to the big time.
Naeher was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut on April 20, 1988. Naeher made a debut in December 2014 with the United States women’s soccer team. Her debut was made during a 7-0 win against Argentina in the International Tournament of Brazil. Since then, Naeher has been a top goalkeeper in women's soccer. She is an integral part of the team's success.
Megan Rapinoe
Megan Rapinoe was the United States' 2019 Women's World Cup winner and won the Golden Ball, as well the Golden Boot. She is also a feminist who has been fighting for equal pay and a strong voice for women in soccer. She credits the positive changes she has seen in soccer to her Seattle Reign coaches Lisa Harvey and Jill Andonovski.
Rapinoe isn't ashamed of her sexuality, but she has been a vocal advocate for equality for female athletes. She was a vocal supporter of the LGBTQ community. In fact, she was one the first white athletes in the country to kneel during the national song. This act inspired Colin Kaepernick’s protests against racism in American sport. Rapinoe was also an active participant in a lawsuit brought against the US Soccer Federation due to gender discrimination. The case was settled by Rapinoe in 2021.

Jerramy Stevens
Jerramy, the US women's goalie for soccer, was arrested on suspicion that she assaulted Hope Solo. They were to be married on the same day as the altercation. Police say Stevens was detained on Monday for fourth-degree assault. A judge however ruled that there was not enough evidence to bring charges. Prosecutors can still file charges later if there is more evidence.
Hope Solo is worried about Stevens’ arrest. The U.S. women's soccer team captain and former NFL tight end reportedly made an argument with Stevens' family in 2014. Stevens was initially arrested but the charges were dropped. They are now happily married and expecting twins on March 4, 2020.
