The LPGA schedule is available here. Next year's lineup includes Annika Solrenstam's retirement, the CP Women's Open, and Michelle Wie West's retirement. In addition, the ShopRite LPGA and CP Women's Open will return to their usual summer dates. Finally, the CP Women's Open will return after a two-year hiatus.
Annika Sorenstam's retirement
Annika Sörenstam's retirement announcement was shocking to many. The Swedish-born professional golfer Annika Sorenstam will be retiring after seven seasons. Since nearly two decades, Annika has been a prominent force in women’s golf. Annika broke 60-holes barrier in 2001, playing a 59-hole tournament at Standard Register Ping. Annika was invited to the Colonial tournament by the PGA Tour in 2003. She became the first female to compete in a PGA Tour event, since 1945. She also won the Vare Trophy and seven U.S. Women's Open events.
Annika Sorenstam's competition schedule
After a seven-year break, Annika Sorenstam has returned to competitive golf. Annika Sorenstam made her LPGA Tour comeback last summer, finishing 74th at the Sybase Classic. She is still in the lead in the all-time money list with over $10 million. She was named LPGA Tour Player of the Year eight times and is in the World Golf Hall of Fame.

Michelle Wie West's retirement
Many people were shocked to hear that Michelle Wie West has resigned from the LPGA schedule. However, the decision was made for the very best reasons. The 'Babe' blazed her own path and left a lasting legacy on the game. Wie West was a brilliant player, a creative wizard, and unstoppable force on course. From her formidable physical presence to her daring play versus male players, Wie West was both inspirational as well as controversial.
CP Women's Open
Every summer, the CP Women's Open hosts a tennis tournament in Toronto. TonsOfTickets.com offers tickets to the tournament. An interactive seating map can be used to find your exact seat for the CP Women's Open. There will be a seat that suits your needs, whether you want to sit in the stands of the front row.
ShopRite LPGA to Return
The ShopRite LPGA Classic, which will be held in New Jersey this year, is back and open to all northeast fans. The event generates over $19 million in economic activity for the area and donates $40 million to various charities since its inception in 1992. The tournament is also a fundraiser for Wakefern Food Corp., the merchandising and logistics arm of the retail chain.
Kingsmill not on 2022 schedule
The Kingsmill Resort is not included in the 2022 LPGA Tour schedule. The LPGA has hosted events at Kingsmill's James River course since 2003. The event was initially scheduled for 2021. But, Pure Silk pulled out at the end the year. The future of the James River course is unknown. Kingsmill is currently looking for a title sponsor.

Congressional Country Club to host first women's major
The 68th KPMG Women’s PGA Championship will be held at Bethesda's Congressional Country Club. This is the first major for women in almost a decade. A newly restored Blue Course will serve as the centerpiece of the tournament, with practice rounds beginning Wednesday. The Americans will be the first to tee off on Wednesday morning. As the tournament moves forward, there are several factors to keep in mind.
