While women are often forgotten in the running world, a few of them have made a significant impact. Rita Jeptoo won the Boston and Chicago marathons in 2013, and 2014. After using EPO, Rita Jeptoo was later banned from competing in the Boston and Chicago marathons for four years. Chebet was succeeded by Agnes Jebet Tirop as a teenager.

Keira D'Amato

Keira D’Amato, famous female runner has an amazing story. She is an athlete with a busy schedule, including a full-time job as a Real Estate agent and a side-job running. Last year, she set a new American marathon record, knocking 24 seconds off Deena Kastor's record, which stood since 2006. Keira, who is only 37 years old, is already an established athlete. However, she began her career as a hobby jogger. Keira Da'Amato, who graduated from American University in 2005, went into Real Estate after having two children.

Paula Jane Radcliffe

Paula Jane Radcliff, an internationally renowned female runner has been successful in the long-distance running events. She is a three-time champion of the London Marathon and the New York Marathon and was the 2002 Chicago Marathon winner. She has also won many other events.

Helene de Pourtales

Helene de Pourtales was born in New York. She was the daughter of a wealthy tobacco family. Isaac Barbey was her father and she was the founder of the tobacco empire. Her mother, a Lolliard from France, was also her father. Helene was a natural athlete and soon married Hermann Alexandre de Pourtales. He was a member the old Huguenot clan. The couple had three daughters. Helene was a descendant of her maternal grandmother, who inherited her passion for horses.


Allison Stokke

Allison Stokke is a famous female runner, pole vaulter and athlete. She is white and was born in Newport Beach. She was educated at Newport Harbor High School and then went on to study at the University of California. Stokke won many records in pole vaulting and other sports while at both schools. Stokke is also a huge advocate for healthy foods and encourages others to follow in her footsteps.

Tia-Clair Toomey

Tia Claire Toomey, the famous female runner has been one of America's most successful athletes over the past year. She's the face and model of female fitness. Her results speak for themselves each time she competes. She won 2022 NOBULL CrossFit Games. Toomey was stronger than ever and continued to lead the competition even after a difficult start.

Allison Baver

Allison Baver (a former U.S. Olympian) announced her retirement from competitive racing on Monday. She has been an Olympian three times, first in 2002, when she competed as an alternate for the U.S. women's 3000m relay team in Salt Lake City. Allison was also a participant in the 2006 Torino Winter Games. In Vancouver, she placed third in the 3000m relay. Allison suffered a tragic injury in 2009 when she fractured her right ankle and leg in a crash with a teammate. This occurred one year prior to her expected participation at the Vancouver Olympics in 2010.
